Skateboarding with my lil brother

Pickle spent the night for the weekend and we went skateboarding in the evenings and daytime. Drew so wants one now. We had a good time with Pickle and he's in the process of making a band and has some GREAT songs that he wrote. The boy has talent! He likes using our MAC for the garage band and has made some good music. He wants Drew to be his Manager... awwww. Good luck with everything Pickle we believe in you!!!!!

My new White iPhone 16GB

I'm so excited I got to pick up my new iPhone today! I had to order it since the new 16GB seem to be so poplar. Drew and I tried to buy one at two different stores last week but they didn't have any in stock. I can't wait to run over to the MAC store and add on the small business apps!

I still can't believe I had my old Blackjack for three years! I was way overdue for an update!

The last of the 1st day of School :(

This is my last first day of school with the kids and yes I cried. I started crying on my way over at 6:30 am and I said to myself that I wouldn't cry in front of the kids. Well as you can probably tell in my picture with Beanie I was crying and I started losing it on the way back in the house. My sister couldn't look at me because she knew she would start crying. Boo woke up and was hugging me and telling me "Aunt Kisha it's too early to cry". I got my act together and put my make-up on for work and walked all Beanie and Boo to their bus stops. I didn't get to walk Lulu or Trit to theirs since I had to go to work. I can't believe how fast they are growing up and how fast time fly's!

Our Engagement!!!

Drew and I have been dating for 2 1/2 years and we have been talking about getting married since the begging but, it became more serious last October. We looked at a few different venues and had some great ideas, so I knew it was only a matter of time before he popped the question. I think the way he did it was very romantic! It would have been nice if he had got down on his knee but, the ring BLEW me away! He designed me an amazing ring! He also planned it so my family could be there when he asked. He really is the BEST! "I love you Drew!"

Chicken n Shrimp Kabobs

So I am going to start blogging more about the food I make and the restaurants we go to. Drew and I figured since were such foodies and we go out more than we should I should give reviews. We both believe that we have a good plate and since we both have been in the business we know good service when we see it or eat. Drew also told me I'm getting better and better in my cooking not that I was ever a bad cook he said. I like to make recipes up as I go and that's what works best for me.

Old Frederick Main Street

Drew and I decided to drive out to Frederick and look at some townhouses. We tried to get those home magazines that have directions to each development but all four stores and two gas stations didn't have any. Go figure when you don't need one there are a million of them. So we decided to wing it. We also decided to take the scenic route instead of Rt. 70. Well that was a mistake! It was a pretty drive but the few signs we saw for any homes were far and scares. The one we followed ended up being for the 55 an older... Drew was so upset. We finally made it back to Rt. 70 and ended up in Old Frederick which was really nice. We were starving since we had not ate all day and it was 4 o'clock. We were able to go into one store (a jewelry store) and we had my ring finer sized and it is 4.75.

They recommend a restaurant that was 2 1/2 blocks down been since we were starving we ate at the place next door called "Grift's" and it was horrible!!! The place was empty but yet it took forever to get our food. Drew even said our waitress was sitting at a table talking with other waitresses. When she finally brought us our food my garlic mashed potatoes (tasted like powder not fresh)were cold and I still had to wait for my over cooked corn on the cob! The crab cakes were small but good but, the price of $28.00 killed us. We were expecting to pay maybe $40.00 - $50.00 but ended up paying $81.00 (tip included) for horrible food and service. I defiantly do not recommend this place. Since it took so long to eat we were only able to go into two more stores and than came the storm.

Overall we had a good time just lunch sucked. On are way home we stopped in Barnes n Nobles and read books and magazines for a few hours and that was the best part of our day. I bought my new "Who Who" journal and filled it up with wedding tips and ideas. I have to talk to Mom and Dad about helping us with the wedding soon if were going to pull off an fall wedding.

My New Color!

I was RED for two years so it was time for a change. I know Drew has been wanting me to go back blond foe awhile. We both like the red but we like the auburn red and my hair was getting really RED! This is a little too Strawberry Blond for my liking but it will be become more blond. Becca and I like to do my hair in the healthy steps.

Tonight I made Drew and I amazing sandwiches! They are now a favorite and will become a classic with us. A new twist on a grilled cheese.

What a scare!!!

Today Drew and I went to the ER at 9 am and didn't get out till 4 pm. We think he passed a kidney stone but will never know since he flushed the toilet. A few follow up appts with the Dr and he will be as good as new!
