I found out last night that my grandfather has been diagnosed with kidney cancer. Last night was a rough on to say the least. Just a couple of months ago he had a stroke and ended up in the hospital for quit a while. I don't know how they missed the cancer. He wasn't feeling well this past weekend but he made an effort to get out and see the family at my nieces 5th grade graduation party. He didn't stay long but you could tell he was glad to be there, and we were glad to have him. My grandfather is a composer among many other things. Music runs in our families veins. I can tell how happy and proud he is when he writes a new song. It brings so much joy to him. He's been working on this one song for a long time now... he thinks it's going to be a hit and he wants me to make up a dance to it and post it on the internet. It's killing me to know that he really can't do the things he loves without it taking so long. He has another doctor appt today and I pray that things went well.
Please say a prayer for my grandfather!
