Our Vacation... well needed!
The traffic was absolutely horrible going down to Duck, NC but once we go there it was awesome! The house we stayed in was amazing and we actually liked the layout better than last years house. It was great hanging out with Drew's family. We celebrated his Dad's74th birthday. We also had a scare with Drew's mom going to the ER for head pain. She felt better the next day and they were able to stay. Thank goodness!!! Coleen and Jack spent their 13th wedding anniversary as well. Drew and his brother Jack took the time they had with the family to work on their new business. Their website will be up and running soon! Yeah!!! Drew and I didn't do much but enjoy the beach and the house. I also took the time to work on my business too. I'm reading a new book on the business of a studio photography and I received my sales and tax license. I'm taking baby steps with my business because I want it done right! I took photos of the Murray and Harper families on the beach and they turned out really nice. On the last day I took pictures of lil Grace.
Amy took mine and Drew's pictures. I showed her how to take the pictures and what I was looking for and she did an awesome job! Strange things happened when we took our pictures (SIGNS) because a couple just got married on our beach and there was a small rainbow. His family kept hinting that we could get married since they were all there but I knew my family would KILL ME!! Plus I wouldn't want to get married with out them. Before Drew and I came down we bought a video camera with our birthday gift cards so we were able to capture everything. We had a great time with his family and I can't wait till next year!
