Now a sour note!

About an hour we received a phone call from a Police Officer that our storage unit was broken into! I swear it's like we can't have one day of normalcy! We always have to have DRAMA!!! I know things could be much worst like they are in Hatti and I'm grateful for what we do have, it just seems like as soon as we get on our feet the rug is pulled out from under us every time! Our unit was one of 114 that were hit. My younger brother drove me up to check it out since Drew was stuck at work. When we walked up to our unit there wasn't even any lock on it. I got after the property manager so he gave me one of theirs and I have to go back up tomorrow with a new one! Since the lighting in those places aren't the best at all I can only tell it's a mess and there is a lot of broken items and a lot stolen like my really nice luggage set that we needed to use next month. Until we pull everything out we won't know the real damage but, I can tell were missing some of my camera equipment, our MAC, some of our summer clothes, and again it was dark so I dunno. ARGH!!!!! It looks like someone walked all over the boxes and they turned them upside down and broken more than they took I think. What also stinks is we only had a $2,000.00 insurance policy on it and I know more than that was taken and broken.

We drove around and saw the whole that was cut in the fence where they loaded up the truck. As you can see the videos and pictures are dark. So it looks like this weekend were moving into a better unit and a better company!
