I finally Got Some Sleep!

Drew and I finally got some sleep this weekend and it was FANTASTIC! So this is how I spent it when I finally got out of bed.

Saturday

Another Good Weekend Filled with alot of Inspiration!!!

Friday: After work I meet up with D and I was so excited because it was his 1st Friday off in a long time! D finally quit the bar yesterday!!!!!!!! We finally have our weekends together... I'm so happy!!!!!! We didn't do that much tonight. We made a really nice dinner and watched some TV. We went to bed early because were taking Bean and Boo to ArtScape tomorrow. Back to the food... it was really good and it was nice to sit down and eat a good meal together at his place. We had entirely way too much food... leftovers! His JERK of a roommate decided to have people over around 2 am and no one left till 7 am... I watched the damn SUN come up!!!! ARGH!!! I swear I have never met anyone so ignorant like his roommate, well maybe Dan... no Jon's worse! I swear they were being so loud and drunk, and they just didn't give a shit. And that DAMN smoking in the house kills me the most... I mean it really kills me!!!!!!! D went down a few times to tell the to be quit but it never makes a difference.

Saturday: So since we didn't get ANY sleep last night, we were dieing when we go up. That made us late to pick the girls up which really upset me! Driving down the girls were so FUNNY!!! They were singing there little hearts out to old 80's songs. D and I were cracking up. Traffic was a little crazy in the city and there was this Asian comic convention I think at the Convention Center. A lot of weirdo's walking around in crazy costumes. We parked in the exact same spot as I did last year but three spaces over. Now I remember this because it was a strange place to park. We met up with Ja and Em with-in 10 minutes which was really cool. The girls loved it... especially since the are artsy like me! I felt bad for Bean because she finally was able to come with me to ArtScape and the lady that has the booth that made one of my necklaces wasn't there this year. Now I'm on the search for a silver necklace with a hot pink stone/rock with metal wrapped around it... so let me know if any of you reading this see's one. Boo got her face painted and gave us a serenade on a violin. The booth guy was blown away! We all went on the Farris wheel and Boo wasn't very happy. I ran into an old friend (Danny) while we were watching the break dancers... and he busted some moves for me. I only got to see Liza for a minute and she had to go find another friend of hers. We took the girls home and hung out with A, C, and the other kiddies for awhile.

The best part of ArtScape was the inspiration it gave me to really get off my ass and start doing something with my photography. There were a couple vendors/artist that had some pretty amazing work and just filled my head with a million ideas!!! So the wheel's are finally turning the right way.

Sunday: D and I slept in than met up with with everyone for A's birthday lunch at Dimitri's. I can't believe she is 31 which means I'll be 27 way to soon! It was nice to see everyone! I haven't seen Olivia since she was born which was about a month ago. The food was okay I thought... I'm more of an Italian girl than Greek. I do have to sat that the MD Crab soup was awesome!! D and I were going to meet up with everyone at A and C's but he wasn't feeling well. After taking a nap since we hadn't had much sleep we got coffee at the little coffee shop on Main Street. As we were sitting in there I started getting ideas for my photo exhibits I want to have and how I want to frame and met the pictures. I'm getting really excited about this!!!! The camera is coming soon and I'm going to go to town with it!!! D and I took a walk and we walked over to the old Mill. I was able to take a couple of pretty cool pictures before my battery died. One picture in general I am very proud of and it is going to go into my portfolio I've been working on. It was taken with natural light and it has a dark feel to it, D was my lovely model! A good Weekend!

This weekend was filled with many good times!

Friday: I surprisingly meet up with A and C at D's Bar. It was funny because I called to talk to D and he said "here talk to her I'm busy with customer's"... well I didn't recognize A's voice and she was so bubbly! I thought it was one of the those girls that goes to the bar to flirt with D so I got a little annoyed. When I finally had enough and asked who I was talking too A was shocked "I didn't know my own sister's voice". It took me a second because A is NEVER at a Bar!!! So I felt silly and D was laughing behind the bar because he knew what I would think. So I got to the bar and had my front row parking spot as always!!!! When I went upstairs D was slammed with people. It was nice to see A and C out and about. This also was the first time they got to hang out with just D and I... even though he was work-in hard. Later D and I went to a party with the youngins which turned into an interesting night... that's all I'll say about that!

Saturday: When D and I woke up he called me outside because one of his neighbors has a Bernese Mt. puppy named Angus. He is sooooo frick-in CUTE and soooooooo SOFT!!!! I now want one more than ever! It's funny because the lady that owns him is the same lady who back in December gave me a whole bunch of brand new kitchen stuff for free! One of the stores on Main Street moved and she was the Manager. She gave use information on Burma puppies. After D and I were done whining about not having our own puppy we went shopping. Now shopping is always FUN!!!!! D's a good boyfriend he helped me pick out my outfits which I know some guys don't want to be bothered with . Now did he loving doing it... probably not! After D went to work I went home and took some pictures of my Mini and Blazer. I have a buyer in the works so I wanted to get some pictures before the truck is gone. D's roommate came out with us to the Phoenix after D went off to work. The Phoenix was dead!!! We met up with D's friends Becky and Craig. It's funny because we haven' hung out with them since January. I remember Becky asking me if I liked D and how she thought it would be really cool if we got together. She also told me how in love with me he was... but I wasn't ready! Sorry D! But it's all about the timing I say.

Sunday: D and I woke up to worker's hammering, sawing, and just making a loud ruckus!!!! We tried to ignore it but that wasn't happening. Now when you didn't go to sleep till 4 am and they started working at 8:30 am that REALLY SUCKS! Finally D and I drove down to the Trolley Stop to have breakfast because it was so HOT outside you felt like you were going to melt and we didn't have any change for the meters. Breakfast hit the spot! When went back to the house and found a meter that had 45 mins. on it which was fine because we had to leave for the Family reunion. Well since the workers were out of the house for the moment we took a nap which turned into a food coma nap. We slept all the hammering again and were late for the party. The worst part was I got a $20.00 parking ticket... come on, can't I get a warning first!!! We weren't able to stay at the reunion long since we had to be in VA by 4:30pm for his nephew R's 3rd birthday party. Lind had a new haircut which I liked a lot. My family is so big that I didn't know half the people there! When we got the D's sister K's house we were just in time because his brother J just walked in before us with his family. It was a good time and good food! His sister surprised everyone with telling us she is 10 wks pregnant! It was cute the way she told all of us. She had R tell everyone thank you and hopefully they have a healthy new brother or sister. On the way home we got stuck in traffic on 495 and my air conditioner started acting up!! It was so HOT and it looked like it was going to rain but luckily it didn't.

All in all it was a good weekend even with the car drama!

My Future Puppy!!!

The past few years I have been in love with the Bernese mountain dogs! Now, I have my boyfriend D in love with them as well. I believe that one day we shall have one in the near future. He's been running into a puppy that lives in Old Town and he's always showing me the pictures of him growing. We want to name ours King Arthur, yup it will be a male! The sad thing about the breed is they don't live very long (6-9 yrs). They are very high risk to cancer and hip problems. But they are soft like Teddy Bears and so sweet! No don't think I forgot about Belle... she will never be forgotten, that's my baby. I just don't know how well she will deal with me having another dog. But it's no time soon so hopefully all will be well. Plus Belle knows she is the Queen Bee!!!!

Things to think about...

It's been a very interesting past couple of weeks for me. With all it's ups and downs. I need to focus on my future and get around all the obstacles. As my friend PR says I need to see some kind of spiritual healer because I have more drama than anyone she knows. I can't argue there with her but I say I have a little black rain cloud following me. I need to start working out to release stress and tension. I'm already eating better. Also, I'm taking my future a little more serious. I have to learn to let go of things that are holding me back.

There is a shop in Old Town that has caught my attention check it out http://www.cookieportraits.com/ . My Man is going to put the word out to see if anyone knows the owner, maybe I can work there part time. This is the kind of photography I'm into. One day I will get the Digital Camera I want.

I can't wait for the day that I have my company up and running.

Old Cartoons

Today at work we were all reminiscing about when we were younger and the cartoons we use to watch. It was pretty cool to see how excited everyone would get when we would figure out the shows name. I use to mostly watch Disney cartoons, Loony Tunes, My Little Ponies, Snorkels, Smurfs, X-men, He-man & Shera, and The CareBears. Just to give you an idea. I have tried to watch cartoons with Big D and A's kids but there just not the same as they use to be. They actually SUCK now. It's sad that they don't have what we did. Hopefully one day it will go back to the good stuff.

Something New

Today, I was emptying out my yahoo email... when I came across T's blog. After reading quite a bit of it, it inspired me to try this out. Like T I'm always taking pictures and I have way to many journals. So this I think will take up less room than all my books do. Since I also don't get to see or talk to many of you this will help keep us connected.

I moved in with my Paw-Paw back in January. I love the farm, it's where I spent a lot of my childhood. So it's really nice to be here with him. We have always been very close. I started gardening with him which has it's very yummy benefits.

I bought a Mini Cooper S (SweetPea) last month and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!! It only took about a month to get after all the paperwork and drama got straighten out. It took a little getting use to a stick but it's a fun car. I still love my truck but it's time to move on. And HELLO it's a MINI!!!!

Belle is my little dog that most of you have met. She hasn't been doing to well lately. Her seizers have been acting up a lot. I feel like that's my fault since she has separation issues. My Grandfather said he has adopted her since I'm not around much. I need to start taking her with me more. And just look how CUTE she is!!!
